I’M PAUL, A WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER FROM MANCHESTER

Capturing love stories across time & space!

Greetings Time Travellers, Jedi and Wedding Couples!

I’m Paul and I’m a wedding videographer (surprise!). I’m from Manchester but travel around the UK to film weddings for my couples. I’m a connoisseur of all things Doctor Who, Star Trek, and the gaming universe. Yes, I’m a self-proclaimed geek and nerd, and proudly so. But above all, I’m an introvert who understands the art of subtlety and the power of a story well told.

If the thought of a camera documenting your day seems more daunting than facing a Dalek, fear not. You’ve navigated to the sanctuary of a fellow traveller who gets it and I’d love to capture your day on film.

Behind The Scenes

Crafting Your Epic Without the Epic Fuss

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is simple: Plan with passion, celebrate with abandon, and let the memories be captured without a single ‘cut!’.

Your wedding film will be a genuine narrative of your day, where the camera is merely a silent guest, mingling discreetly. No staged directions, no awkward posing – just the authentic, unfiltered celebration of your love.

So, ready your sonic screwdrivers and set your phasers to ‘fun’. With me, your wedding videography is in hands that know how to blend into the background, ensuring that your story is told, not intruded upon.

Whether your wedding is in Manchester or the surrounding areas or even further afield (I LOVE travelling!) then I’ve got you covered and I’d love to chat about your plans and what my wedding videography can offer you.

Manchester’s the Bee’llox

I moved to Manchester when I was but a wee boy! I was born and spent the first part of my childhood down South. My mum’s family were from Manchester though, so we had spent a lot of time up here with Grandparents and Family. So it didn’t take me long to fall in love with the city.

Manchester has so many different vibes to it. From its Industrial past and converted mills and buildings, places such as the Northern Quarter, Spinningfields, Deansgate, the Gay Village and just across the border in Salford, Media City, Manchester has something for every taste. From big events such as Manchester Pride, Manchester Day and the big Chinese New Year festivals. The famous Manchester Christmas Markets and the Town Hall. Whenever you visit, the place can feel different. Well, apart from the rain that is!

Being a wedding videographer in Manchester means I get to meet some amazing people and work at some awesome venues. From more alternate Manchester venues such as Victoria Baths, FiveFourStudios, GRUB and the Albert Hall to venues within an hour across borders into neighbouring counties, such as Lancashire, Cheshire and the Lakes. All these amazing places are within an hour or two of Manchester.

As a big movie goes, I often visit Manchester myself for a cinema trip. Getting into the centre via the tram and visiting the Printworks or indulging myself with a trip to Everyman and its sofa’d cinema! I’ll often then take in a drink or some food around Ancoats. Take a stroll around some of the places to visit like the Art Gallery or Science Museum. During the summer, it’s great to take a trip out to Heaton Park or down to Salford Quays or Didsbury Village.

Though it’s not something I do as much these days, Manchester also has a fab music scene with some great venues from the Academy, the Arena, Lancashire Cricket Ground to the Etihad. Once a year it also hosts the Parklife festival for all you festival goes at Heaton Park. For the music lovers out there you can also get married at some of the music venues, such as the Albert Hall.

I really do love this city. It’s diversity and quirkiness. There is no other place like it. Being a wedding videographer in Manchester is an absolute dream come true. Whether you’re having that city centre wedding at some quirky offbeat venue, an art gallery or museum wedding or going more for a countryside wedding on the outskirts of town or taking a drive up the motorway to the rural beauty of the north of England, I’ll be there to capture all those amazing, wonderful wedding day moments between you and those you love.
